Pi Medicine Stone are circular in shape, with a hole in the middle.  Also known as donut stones. Pi stones originate from the Inca civilization and symbolize our luminous bodies and the energetic universe. They were utilized to transmit Munay Ki Rites during Inca Shaman initiations. Their torus geometric shape represents the sun’s circular path in the sky. The central hole signifies the principle of absolute oneness. Embodying the eternal unity of all things and the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. In various ancient cultures, Pi stones served as stargates and energy keys, playing a significant role in learning and healing practices.

What does Pi medicine stone represent:

Their circular shape represents the archetype for “wholeness.” They represent the ouroboros, serpent of light, swallowing its own tail, constantly creating itself and forming a circle. They symbolize the eternal unity of all things, the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The center represent our energetic spine, Kundalini energy that flows through the center of our bodies. Kundalini energy is symbolic of our own spiraling DNA and is associated with the serpent of light coiled around the base of the spine (root chakra) approximately 3.142 times. When awakened, it spirals up your spine like a figure eight around each of your seven chakras, creating a never-ending loop, opening you to higher levels of consciousness.

Pi stones are typically gifted after receiving the last of the nine Munay Ki Rites. But if it was not gifted to you, you can anoint/activate it yourself.  Place your intention/wish upon it, anoint it, then pass it through incense and place it in the full moon. Also used when passing the rites on to others. Although not essential, many Munay Ki recipients also like to have their own stones, as a reminder of the rites and as an aide in connecting with the energies.

All pi stone donuts display their own unique patterns and colorings.
