In Greek Mythology, the Sunstone crystal is a representation of Ra, The Sun God. The Egyptians believe that this stone fell from the sun during a solar eclipse and was a gift from Ra. The Vikings used this stone as a compass to find their way over the rolling hills and fields using the stones ability to shimmer in the light as guidance. The Native Americans felt the stone had immense healing properties and would gift its user energy and joy when needed.
