Rosemary and Activated Charcoal Scrub
Moisturizing lotions and body butters are great for dry skin, but an exfoliating scrub is essential for removing dead cells and refreshing the skin. Salt scrubs work especially well for tackling dry, flaky patches, particularly on tougher areas like the feet. Salt not only softens the skin and smooths away flakes, but also delivers vitamins and minerals to the surface. Paired with nourishing body oils, a salt scrub leaves skin moisturized and hydrated.
When using a salt scrub, it’s important to wet your skin first, then apply the scrub in a circular motion, focusing on areas that tend to be dry. Rinse the scrub off with warm water and pat your skin dry.
Rosemary and Activated Charcoal Scrub should only be used two to three times a week.
Salt scrubs work much like a dry brush to boost circulation and help detoxify the skin. Simply massage the salt granules into wet skin as you would with a dry brush. Rather than targeting just dry spots, begin at the feet and gently work upward over the whole body, finishing at the heart.
