White Tara (Sitatara) is associated with long life. Her mantra is often chanted with a particular person in mind. She’s another representation of compassion, and she’s pictured as being endowed with seven eyes to symbolize the watchfulness of the compassionate mind.
The meaning of Tara is “She Who Saves” and her mantra is used in the BTB School of feng shui. White Tara, also called “the Mother of all Buddhas” is the perfect embodiment of graceful power, wisdom, and purity. White Tara is the female Bodhisattva of compassionate activity, the supreme mother and collective manifestation of the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas. She is said to see all suffering and respond to requests for help. Her yogic method promotes health and extending one’s lifespan.
