Yarrow herb

Yarrow is a great cleansing herb and used alongside Sage it brings positivity as well as clearing an area, object or person of negative energy. Best known for bringing protection to a relationship, it is often used at weddings. We recommend adding it to your incense at loving ceremonies such as handfasting’s. But it can be used any time to ward off negative influences in relationships. Carried in a pouch, Juju bag or spell bag it increases courage, positivity and strength. Use in conjunction with the color yellow to dispel fears and insecurities. Carry in a yellow bag or use a yellow altar cloth when using Yarrow.
How to use magickal yarrow herb:
- Burn over charcoal to add to your rituals.
- Place on altar with your candle.
- Roll candle on herbs and burn candle.
- Add to altar.
- Add to sacred baths and natural beauty products.
- Sew into charms, spell bags, dream pillows, and sachets.
- Offer to deities, spirits and Fae.
- Create your own elixirs and blends.
Medicinal: Tea infusion aids digestive problems. Wound healing agent stops bleeding. Yarrow tea is one of the best remedies for fever. Can be used on chapped skin, and rashes and for a mouthwash for inflamed gums.
Medicinal Preparation:
- Herbal leaves or flowers: 1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Allow to infuse for 10 min. Strain and drink.
- Herbal powders: 1 tsp per cup of boiling water
- Seeds, bark, roots, stems, berries: 20 gr per 500ml of boiling water. Strain and drink.
