Why smudge with feathers? Birds are revered by native people because of their closeness with The Divine. The spirit of the bird come through using their feathers in the fan. Thus connecting the Divine Spirit with Mother Earth during the cleansing ceremony. The feathers move the energy from the Aura Body through the sweeping motion. Much like that of a bird in flight. This representation inspire, as one learns to connect with all of Mother Earth through ancient ways.
All of our Smudging Natural Feather are found on the property. Picture shows the type of feather you can expect, but size and shape may vary as this is a natural product. Proceeds are used to fund our animal sanctuary.
How to use a smudging feather
Use the feather. Spread the smoke all around yourself first. Then over what you are cleansing. Next, walk about the area, person or object, and fan the smoke. This clears negativity, cleanses, focuses and purifies the smudged object.
Quick short movement with the feather break up blocked or stagnant energy. Long flowing movement smooth out energy, creating a calm, balanced and harmonious energy flow.
